Waqar Zaidi is a PhD candidate at the Centre for the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine at Imperial College, London. He graduated from Oxford University with a BA in Physics, and holds an MSc (with Distinction) in the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine from Imperial College, London. His MSc dissertation focused on the ideological rhetoric of the British aeronautical engineer, Barnes Wallis. His general research interest is in the relationship between science, technology and ideology in the twentieth century, with a particular focus on the history of international relations and globalisation.
